RESEARCH
I have done a lot of research since I started learning about cybersecurity and programming. I have learned to code in Java and a little bit in Python. The main goal of my research is to develop my skills so that I can help people protect themselves.

ONGOING RESEARCH PROJECT
I am currently learning more about the essentials of Cybersecurity. I am also honing other skills that are necessary to working in the future. I am taking classes at DeVry University that are related to earning a degree in Cybersecurity and Networking. I want to focus on the application development side of this because I want to make applications that make Cybersecurity easy for everyone.

RECENT RESEARCH PROJECT
I have recently finished a class that introduced me to the Internet of Things. This class taught me about how to put different things together with an Arduino controller and a breadboard. The project for this class was to create a simulated home security system. This included using a sonic sensor, buzzer and different lights to output a phrase that says that there may be an intruder as well as making a lot of noise to alert everyone nearby. The system works very well and was giving correct outputs based on how it was coded.

OTHER RESEARCH PROJECTS
In high school I learned how to code with Java and Python. I also took some classes at Wittenberg University where I learned the basics of how to program with C++ and learned how to convert binary, hex, and decimal numbers between each other. These skills have been very useful as I learn more about cybersecurity at DeVry University.
